WHO WE ARE

  • We are a church that locks arms with the community to help bring restoration to people and neighborhoods in our city and around the world.

  • We don’t have everything figured out, but we are on a journey of restoration through Jesus who loves people without prejudice or qualification. Restore is a place where you can be yourself, ask questions, and won’t be pressured to conform to any stereotype.

  • No matter who you are or what you’ve done, you are welcome at Restore.

WHAT WE’RE ABOUT

Grace
Because God has shown immeasurable grace to us, we lead with grace in every relationship and circumstance at Restore.

Authenticity
Being fake does no one any good and real is better than perfect. Restore will always be a safe place where people can ask questions, doubt, and be open about what they are going through without fear of judgement.

Diversity
God has made all of us differently, but he has made all of us valuable. We believe that the church works best when we embrace and empower the differences around us. Restore is fully inclusive, meaning that no matter your age, race, gender, socioeconomic status or sexual orientation, you can participate fully in the life of our church family.

Partnerships
Restore mobilizes volunteers and funding to work with organizations who are already doing an amazing job helping people in need in our community and around the world. You can learn all about the non-profit organizations we partner with by clicking here.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The statements below are adapted from ancient Christian creeds which have helped guide baseline Christian belief for almost 2000 years. We hold to the old axiom, “in essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; in all things, charity.”

God
God is the creator and sustainer of the universe, eternally existing in three equal persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:13-17).

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully God. He became a human, lived a perfect life, and laid down his life on the cross. He then rose from the dead, demonstrating his power over evil, sin and death, and returned to heaven (Ephesians 2:1-9). Jesus is the fullest and clearest revelation of what God is like (Colossians 1:15).

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit comes to live inside of every believer from the moment of salvation, making them a new creation and giving them power to live a life marked by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-25).

Humanity
All people, regardless of who they are or what they’ve done, are deeply loved by God (1 John 4:8-10). All people, regardless of who they are or what they’ve done, have a broken relationship with God because of sin which is restored through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23).

Salvation
Salvation is forgiveness and abundant life through Jesus Christ, both now and forever (John 10:10). It is a gift from God, not achieved effort or good works (John 3:16-18).

The Bible
The Bible was written by human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is useful for teaching, correcting, and equipping the believer for every good work (2nd Timothy 3:16-17).

The Return of Jesus
Jesus will come back to earth in order to complete his work of restoration by making all things new and perfect (Romans 8:18-23).
